It was Rico Abreu who topped the Tuscarora 50 field after making the pass for the lead on lap 15. The field raced on a track where drivers needed good brakes early on to keep them out of the wall while running the top side and later to help them stick the bottom on a rubber down track. Abreu and second place finisher TJ Stutts were able to do just that. Their Smith Ti Brake Systems allowed them the confidence they need to move around on the track and stay up front.
