Sealed Bearings by Design
Our bird cages use precision bearings with rubber seals and factory-measured grease. Adding grease to a sealed bearing can cause ball skid — when excess pressure prevents the balls from rolling freely — which leads to increased friction and heat.
High-Temperature Grease
Each bearing is packed with a special high-temperature grease that’s formulated to outlast the bearing itself, ensuring long-term reliability under extreme racing conditions.
Load vs. Lubrication
In sprint car applications, the bearing load will degrade the bearing long before lubrication ever becomes an issue. Simply put, grease will never be your limiting factor.
Optimized for Easy Replacement
Because of this, we’ve eliminated grease fittings and developed our own cost-effective, race-ready bearings. Bearings are designed for quick replacement approximately every 5–20 races, depending on conditions.
Water Damage Warning
Avoid using high-pressure wash wands on the bearings — water pressure can penetrate rubber seals in an instant. Even a single drop of water can compromise and destroy the bearing.
