When the rubber comes in, brakes are important. That’s what happened Friday night at the Hight Limit show at I-70 Speedway. Corey Day was running second with five laps to go, then the rubber came in. Day was able to get by the leader and use his Smith Ti Brakes in the rubber to maneuver through lapped traffic and beat the field.
In World of Outlaws action, Gio Scelzi held off many charges from runner up Sheldon Haudenschild but was able to prevail. River Cities Speedway is a little bullring and brakes are important there too. Scelzi was able to use his Smith Ti Brakes to get through a ton of lapped traffic and keep his car pinned to the bottom on an action packed track.
The two tracks are very different, but brakes were important on both. If you need more confidence in your stopping power, we have many options available. You’re sure to find a winning combination for your race team.
