- Over-tightening fasteners can lead to stripped threads, cracked components, or other forms of damage. Conversely, under-tightening can result in loose connections, which can lead to failure or safety hazards. Using a torque wrench helps prevent these issues by applying the correct amount of force.
- Torque wrenches help maintain consistency in tightening procedures, especially in applications where multiple fasteners need to be tightened to the same specification. This consistency contributes to the reliability and longevity of assemblies.
- Using a torque wrench demonstrates a commitment to quality and professionalism in your work.
