Thorson Scores First Victory as Owner/Driver

Tanner Thorson parked his #88 midget in victory lane for the first time ever as the driver and owner of his very own race team. The win was a big one, paying $10,000, and was hard earned. Thorson started on the front row at Jefferson County Speedway, but had to stay out front for 40 laps with strong USAC regulars doing their best to steal the victory.

Thorson’s car is light and strong thanks to Smith Ti parts. His Smith Ti Midget Brake Systems gives him the confidence he needs when working his way through traffic and his rear Ti torsion arm and Ti bolts hold everything together on tricky race tracks.

We can’t wait to see Thorson score win number 2 in his new role!
