Thorson and Sanders with Big Weekend Wins

The dirt track world had never seen a weekend quite like this. Two different drivers, two massive paydays, and one undeniable common denominator keeping them glued to the track: the lethal combination of the new Smith Ti Big Boy Brakes and the ultra-strong Smith Ti Front Axle.

Down in the high-stakes arena of the Lucas Oil / High Limit showdown, Tanner Thorson and the JST Motorsports (Tessier family) team were staring down a brutal, technical track with $25,000 on the line. The surface had dried out into a slick, unforgiving sheet of glass, demanding absolute precision. Every time Thorson threw the car into the corner, the Smith Ti Front Axle took the abuse and gave him pinpoint steering control. When the pack bunched up in traffic, Tanner leaned heavily on the Big Boy Brakes—the massive titanium setup delivering instant, fade-free stopping power that allowed him to duck under rivals and execute flawless sliders and rotate in the rubber without a twitch. When the checkered flag fell, Thorson and the Tessier crew were standing on the front stretch, hoisting the big check.

Meanwhile, the legendary Demo Mittry car was locked in a war of its own. Justin Sanders was behind the wheel, chasing his career-first World of Outlaws (WOO) victory in a grueling, high-paying mega-event with a staggering Dennis Roth $83,000 winner’s prize.

The pressure was suffocating, and the Outlaws were throwing everything they had at the 2 car. But Sanders had an equalizer. Rocketing into the turns at blistering speeds, the Smith Ti Front Axle kept the nose of the 2 car perfectly planted, biting into the dirt where others pushed up into the wall. As the laps ticked down and the brakes on other cars began to fade under the intense heat, Sanders’ Smith Ti Big Boy Brakes remained crisp and aggressive. In the closing laps, a late-race restart put the sport’s best right on his bumper. Sanders mashed the throttle, applied the brakes early and relied on the perfect balance of his brake system to roll stuck right through the center of the corner, and absolutely dominated the final corner.

He crossed the line to seal his historic first WOO victory, pocketing the $83,000 big money payout for Mittry Motorsports.

In both victory lanes, the story was the exact same. The money was big, the competition was fierce, but Smith Ti was completely unstoppable.
