Anthony Macri continues to prove why he’s one of the toughest competitors in sprint car racing. This past weekend at Eldora Speedway, Macri etched his name into history by capturing his second consecutive Kings Royal championship, becoming just the second driver ever to accomplish the feat.

What makes this victory even more remarkable is the road it took to get there. Earlier this season, a serious back injury sidelined Macri for months, leaving many wondering when—or if—he would return to championship form. Instead of letting adversity define his season, Anthony and the entire Macri Motorsports team fought back stronger than ever. His determination, resilience, and unwavering commitment have turned an incredible comeback into one of the sport’s best stories of 2026.
